It’s grounding, but not heavy—like stepping barefoot onto cool earth after rain. Smooth tonka and saffron drift beneath woodland greens and pale petals, mellowed by white tea and sweet mimosa. Think forest path meets secret glen.

Tattooing since 2007, Russ Oberg has spent the last 13+ years devoted to honing his work and honoring the traditions that came before him. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Russ finds influence in the natural world around him and from cultures afar—bringing thoughtful intention to every piece he creates.

While in Washington, he splits his time between Bulldog Tattoo Parlor in Olympia and Hidden Hand Tattoo in Seattle, where he’s been a frequent guest artist for over a decade. When not in Washington, he dedicates his time to his shop, Red Quill Tattoo, based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

For Russ, the real awards aren’t plaques or trophies—they’re the people, the connections, and the community built through this shared, storied craft. His approach to tattooing is one of reverence, seeing himself as a small part of something much bigger. His goal is simple: give back to tattooing what it has given to him.

Materials

Maple Plywood, Walnut Plywood, or Birch Plywood, Paint, Glue, Resin, Sealant, Titanium studs or Nickel Free findings for the drop earrings

Candles:

Coconut Apricot Wax, Fragrance Oils, Essential Oils, Cotton Wick

Melts:

Soy Wax, Fragrance Oils, Essential Oils,

Care Instructions

Earrings:

Remove jewelry before bathing, showering or swimming. Avoid contact with water. Remove jewelry before sleeping.

Candles:

Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended.
Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Trim the wick to 1/4 " tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and burning nicely.
Burn your candle 2 + hours first burn. Any hang-up of wax will catch up.
Keep out of reach of pets and children.
For safety - stop using once candle has only 1/2 inch of wax remaining to ensure the glass doesn't get to hot and crack.

Do not extinguish with water. Wax and water will splatter and pop, risking physical injury and shattered glass. In case of emergency, use flour, baking soda or sand to put out flames. Burning your candle from Gold Dust Collective,LLC is at your own risk.

Wax Melt:

Place your wax melts into the well of your approved wax melt warmer or burner.
Always turn off or extinguish a warmer before leaving the room. Never leave it unattended.
Do not leave your warmer on for more than 3 hours at a time.
Place on a stable, flat & heat safe surface, away from flammable objects & drafts.
Always keep well out of the reach of children & pets.
Do not add essential oils or water to your warmer.

6mm is extra small. This is great for a child, to wear in a second hole, or for anyone who likes very small earrings.
8mm is small. This size works great for a child, for someone who has small ear lobes, or for anyone who likes small earrings.
10mm is medium. This size is the most common and popular. Works well when you are purchasing for a gift and are not sure what size to get.
12mm is large. This is another popular size. Great for someone who likes them a little larger.
14mm is extra large. If you like big earrings..this one is for you.
Most purchased sizes are 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm
