Fall Style & Home Fragrance: Handmade Earrings and Candles for Autumn

There is something about the shift into fall that makes everything feel a little different. The air gets cooler, the colors get richer, and suddenly the things we wear and the scents we bring into our homes start changing too.

At Gold Dust Collective, autumn shows up in two of my favorite ways: handmade wood earrings and small batch candles.

Handmade Earrings for Fall

Fall style does not have to mean completely changing your wardrobe. Sometimes a small detail is enough.

Wood earrings naturally work well with autumn colors and textures. Warm walnut, natural maple, earthy colors, geometric shapes, and seasonal designs can add something different to a simple sweater, denim jacket, flannel, or your favorite everyday basics.

Fall Candles That Go Beyond Pumpkin Spice

I love fall fragrance, but I have never wanted the Gold Dust candle collection to smell like every other seasonal candle aisle.

My Autumn Collection includes Midnight Orchard and Smashing Pumpkins + Patchouli, two very different takes on the season.

Midnight Orchard is rich and fruit forward, with plum, black orchid, cinnamon, incense, sandalwood, patchouli, and tonka. Smashing Pumpkins + Patchouli leans into the earthier side of fall.

Candles for Cooler Weather

Some fragrances just seem to fit this time of year.

That variety is intentional. Fall fragrance can be dark fruit and patchouli, but it can also be warm woods, spice, citrus, coconut, or something completely unexpected.

Each Gold Dust candle is hand poured in small batches using coconut apricot wax and custom blended fragrance combinations. I develop and test the blends myself, combining fragrance oils to create scents that feel distinctly Gold Dust rather than choosing a single fragrance straight from a bottle.

Art You Can Wear, Burn and Keep

Gold Dust has always been about more than making another pair of earrings or another scented candle.

Art is a major part of what inspires the brand.

That is especially visible in the Artist Series candle collection, where original artwork from tattoo artists becomes part of the candle itself. The idea was to create something that could function as a candle while still feeling like a piece you might want to leave sitting out after the wax is gone.

That same idea carries into the earrings. Some designs are simple and geometric. Others pull from tattoo imagery, western influences, nature, retro design, music, and whatever happens to be inspiring me at the time.
